Reloading the save will fix this, and from this point on it will play as any other multiplayer game. This will cause the host to force his version of the map (the modded one, in this case) on to the other clients.Īs a side effect of this, the hosts (and possibly everyone else's) three unlockable Ark slots will be disabled.Īny items slotted inside of these three slots might be permanently lost (remove them before launching a multiplayer game with players who do not have the same version of this mod as well!). This is an option which will present itself to the host in the form of a pop-up when this error happens.
This desync can easily be solved by clicking on the Synchronise option. This is normal since this mod changes the map templates. This is because clients without the mod and those with the mod each made a different version of the map (even with the same seed). This mod will still work even if only the host has the mod installed however, you will experience the following issues:Įveryone will get a desync error after the map has been created for the first time. You will need a (free) program like Winrar or Winzip to open the download file.ġ.- For multiplayer I advise every person who you intend to play this mod with, to download and install the same version. The following info is all included within the file itself (As a small text file called "Instructions"). The mod now also works with the base game.
